Off to a Slow Start? Don't Panic!!!

Are your players off to a slow start this season? If yes, then don't panic. It's early folks. There are a lot of big name players like Ryan Howard, Gary Sheffield and even Albert Pujols who are struggling out of the gate. This is no reason to trade them. While there is no fantasy explantion to why there are struggling doesn't mean that it will continue. I've already seen some people trying to deal their top stars who are currently in a cold streak and it drives me crazy. Sure if you want to get rid of them, I'll take 'em. But calm down, think sensibly. Do you think you can profit by trading them? The answer is most likely no. There is a reason you drafted them early, it's because they're the best. You've got to wait it out and be patient. It's a long season. The key is to wait for the other guys in your leagues to panic and capitalize on it.

The same goes for your later round picks. So what if that stud rookie like an Alex Gordon isn't hitting right now. If they're on your bench, just keep them there. They're not hurting you on the bench. When they finally do come around, you're gonna be happy that you held on to them. The biggest mistake you can make is to drop them. Then somebody else picks them up and turns into a stud for them. Example: Last season my good friend dropped Aaron Harang after the first two weeks of the season. So I picked him up knowing that he had potential and I didn't need him right away. What happened? Aaron Harang became a top 5 N.L. pitcher and helped me win the league. Don't drop a guy unless there is someone out there that is a can't miss stud and there is no reason he shouldn't be owned. The only other reason should drop someone this early is because of injury.

Listen guys, you made the pick. You picked that player because you saw something in them that gave you visions of $$$$$ in your head. Trust your knowledge, trust your players. It's way too early to be making mistakes. Be PATIENT!

That's the word.

I'm Back.....Finally!

That's right folks, I'm finally back. Sorry I've been gone for a while but I was having trouble posting my blogs. Everytime I would try to post something it would give me an error. But the problem has been solved and hopefully I won't have anymore troubles with it. So expect a lot more posts in the coming days because I've got a lot to talk about and need to make up for lost time.
