Mark Buehrle looked very good tonight in his start against the A's in Chicago. Buerhle went 7 strong innings, giving up 9 hits (4 to Kurt Suzuki), 1 BB, 1 ER with 4 K's in a 2-1 loss. He hadn't pitched in 8 days due to a rainout and a day off. This was a good sign for fantasy owners of Buerhle who watched him struggle in his first start against Cleveland. He did give up nine hits but not a whole lot of hard hit balls. His control was there as he and Pierzynski worked very well together. I said during the preseason that Buerhle would be a good late round pick and I'm sticking to it. Tonight's game was a good sign. In other White Sox news, Paul Konerko and Carlos Quentin both went 0-4 while Jermain Dye went 2-4 to raise his BA to .348.
