Gallardo Solid in Rehab Start

Yovani Gallardo pitched his first rehab start on Saturday and did pretty well. He threw 75 pitches in four innings giving up 3 R and struck out 5. Gallardo will probably make at least one more rehab start before he comes off the DL. Ned Yost said that he could start April 19 vs. the Reds in Cincinatti. Gallardo is one of the best young pitchers in the game. It's unlikely that he will dominate the NL this year but its almost certain that he will in the future. He's a solid source of K's right now and with the Brewers potent offense he should get plenty of run support. Control is going to be the big issue. This injury was not a big deal at all and I expect him to remain healthy barring any bad scenarios. Gallardo owners want him back ASAP and it looks like it won't be long.
