Hill and the Cubs Take Tough Loss

The Cubs blew another one today. Mark DeRosa committed a crucial error late in the game that cost the Cubs the win. Rich Hill pitched very respectable allowing only two runs in six innings thanks to a J.R. Towles homerun. Hill allowed 3 BB and 4 H while striking out 4. the Cubs have had a combination of bad luck and lack of production at the plate. Alfonso Soriano had another 0-4 today as well. Kosuke Fukudome had another good game today going 2-4 and Geovany Soto was 1-4 with a couple of RBI. The Cubs need to start hitting and winning at home. If not, it could be a repeat of last season except they may not win the division. Miguel Tejada had a good game for the Astros going 2-4.
