Injury Update 4/9

-Jimmy Rollins sprained ankle shouldn't keep him out of any games.

-Dave Roberts is on the DL and may have to have knee surgery.

-Scott Kazmir and John Lackey both pitched off of a mound yesterday and by all accounts looked good. Kazmir was getting the ball in the 93 MPH range and Lackey will throw another bullpen session on Thursday.

-Curtis Granderson took batting practice for the first time yesterday since breaking his finger. It won't be long before he's back in the lineup.

-Keep an eye on Jorge Posada's status. His dead arm could land him on the DL soon.

-Francisco Rodriguez may be out until Sunday with a sprained ankle.

-J.J. Putz should resume throwing again this weekend.

-X-rays on Howie Kendrick's thumb were negative and he should return to the lineup in the next couple of days.

-Rich Harden is expected to pitch Saturday against the Indians after missing his start Monday with an arm strain.

-Randy Johnson was solid in his rehab start going six innings, 3ER and 7 K. He may start April 14 against the Giants in San Fran.

-Chad Cordero is expected to have a Class A rehab work today and could be back this weekend against the Braves.
