Predictions Gone Horribly Wrong

My friend Patrick DiCaprio of Fantasy Baseball Generals and the soon to come fantasypros911.com gave me a great idea the other day. He told me about how he once wrote an article listing all of his bad predictions and then asked the readers to vote on the worst one. We both agreed that this was a hilarious idea and I told him that I might do something like that. So here it is. Here is a list of all of my preseason predictions that couldn't have come farther from fruition. Most fantasy experts pretend that they know it all and never make a bad prediction. Those are usually the worst writers and the least helpful articles you can read. I'm not afraid to share my bad predictions with the readers. These God awful predictions are in no particular order but I encourage you to rank them for me or comment on which you think is the worst. This should be pretty entertaining.

-- I predicted that Barry Zito would win 14 games and have a 3.80 ERA.

-- I said that Ian Kinsler was the biggest reach at 2B in most drafts.

-- I predicted that Bob Howry would start the season as the Cubs' closer.

-- I thought that Jeff Francoeur could be a .300 hitter this year.

-- I predicted that Andruw Jones would hit 30 HR.

-- I was sure that Brandon Lyon would lose his job early to Tony Pena.

-- I wrote an article about Aaron Harang entitled, "As Reliable as They Come".

-- I predicted Kosuke Fukudome would win NL Rookie of the Year.

-- I predicted that Justin Verlander would win the AL Cy Young Award.

-- I predicted the Cubs would win the World Series. I should know better.

Man that's good stuff. I will say for all of those horrible predictions I had a lot of good ones too and you guys know that otherwise you wouldn't keep coming back. So let me know which one you think is the most horrendous!
